HomeMain → A project I've been working on

http://www.bidflyer.com

Uses the eBay developer API and 100% Actionscript. More functionality (drill down categories further, suggest categories, more fluid data delivery, etc.) coming soon but the main "browsing" chunk is there if you want to check it out.

Wow! I love this, it looks and feels wicked. Very responsive too- it's not slow like I was expecting.
Hi Aaron,

Yes, it is quick and looks nice.

I don't understand what the use of this is for, when you can search directly on Ebay? Is this for a niche market, like designers?
Now that’s what I call eBay visualisation! Rock!

Will we be able to choose country specific searches?
Thanks guys... Another one of the pet projects I work on in the middle of the night.

Yeah basically it's not too much different from standard eBay right now in terms of what you do with it... Whenever I'm really try to win something on eBay I used to leave one window open to bid with - and the other to constantly refresh to watch the countdown. The beauty will be in the real-time information, ability to watch up to 12 separate item countdowns at once, lightweight full-descriptions (stripping out HTML and Javascript to eliminate overhead), etc. Not to mention you can view many more products per page.

Yes - you'll be able to choose from country specific sites, hot items on ebay, eBay Motors specific, and more. Just takes forever to build each function that deals with the large quantity data they send me without making flash crap out LOL.

I'll post more updates once I get some cool stuff online - I've also got some other cool API stuff in the works.

Thanks for the explanation. Sounds like an interesting project.

Maybe one day you'll make a tool for Google or something like that. Something big, so you can go on vacation or go nuts and make more stuff :) Good luck.
